Hello!
It's important to focus on your business skills and abilities for these applications. When talking about your work experience, focus on how you work in a team, how you operate under stress, some of the leadership abilities you've shown, rather than your technical skills. Business schools will be more interested in these qualities than your technical experience.
For your tests, keep in mind that many schools require the GMAT, not the GRE. While some schools will take the GRE, it can reflect poorly since the GMAT is specifically designed for business schools, and the GRE is a more general exam. Double check with the schools you've targeted, and make sure to prepare fully for the test to get your score up and be competitive.
Good job on your CFA Level 1!
We'd be happy to work with you further on your profile and applications. Please let us know what you think.
