MS in Taxation (Fordham and Baruch) or MBA Taxation (Hofstra [#permalink]
02 Apr 2010, 19:35
Hello, I'm a recent graduate of Baruch and I'm working for a government position that is tax related. I'm considering going back for my masters in Taxation part time. The schools I'm deciding on are Fordham's MS in Taxation, Baruch's MS in Taxation or Hofstra's MBA in Taxation.
One of my professors in the Tax field has been raving about Fordham's tax program, however, spending $35K for a program that isn't ranked in Accounting is tough to swallow. Baruch has a nice program, but I already received my undegrad degree from there and I think a different school would diversify my experience. Hofstra offers an MBA in taxation.......I realize Tax is a technical field and MBA is more of a managerial role, but a MBA in Taxation would also diversify my background. What are your thoughts?
