I have offers from 3 universities
Warwick - Msc in Information Systems Management and Innovation
Stratheclyde - Msc in Business Information Technology
Lancaster - Msc in Information Technology Manaagement and organisational change
I am too confused and sceptical about taking a decision on one of these now.
Firstly I am too doubtful on UK visa scene, I heard work permit is very difficult to get , does this mean there will be no jobs there for me ?
Secondly on what basis should I choose the university? ranking wise warwick is best but starthclyde has industries around it and so people say that employment will be easier
Thirdly with an experience of 2yrs in IBM in SAP ABAP , should I really go for a Msc course or I give GMAT and take up an MBA next year ?
Please help me
This decision depends on your goals and what you want to be doing in 5 years. If you want to stay in IT and rise to management ranks, the MS is a great option and takes only 1 year (in contrast to the 2-year MBA). If you are hoping to switch to IB or consulting, then the MBA will probably improve those odds. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee about your acceptance to an MBA next year and it is true that the UK is becoming more conservative about visas for foreigners. To help you make your decision, I highly recommend speaking with current students and recent grads of the MS programs to find out about their job searches and success rates.
