does anyone know how competitive it is to get into BC's MSF program?? I wonder if they require any work exp since I will only have about 1.5 yrs of work exp by the time i complete the application. Actually, to be honest, any info on this program will be greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance :-D

It depends on your stats but I think it's average to above average in terms of competitiveness. The part-time program has many industry professionals with more years of direct experience so it could be tougher, unless you have stellar GMAT and strong essays.

You should also look into the CFA program. It's pretty highly respected in the field.

what's the CFA program?

Just a little bit about myself,
major- BS in econ/business
GPA- 3.6 from top 30 school (major gpa 3.8)
GMAT- 650 but aiming for 700ish
work exp- will be 2 yrs if i decide to apply for '08

so, you think it'd be better for me to apply for the full-time program rather than part-time because people with ltos of work exp apply for the part time program? even though avg GPA and GMAT scores are lower for part-time?

thanks mucho,
