MSRE masters in real estate at A&M: need some help!

I got my undergrad in finance last year and have been working as a property manager for around 2 years. After applying to numerous firms, I've come to the conclusion that for the type of job I want to get (asset valuation/appraisal) I need to further my education. I have some questions I was hoping some of you more experienced members could help me with.
I am a Texas resident and would prefer to enter a masters program in-state. I am very interested in the MRE program at Mays college at Texas A&M - are there any other masters programs in real estate or related field that anyone can recommend?
I am a little behind in the application process. My biggest worry being the GMAT. After browsing around the forum I see yall are a bunch of all stars! I estimate with my grades, letters of rec, ect I will be very competitive with a GMAT score of 650. That said, can any of you all stars recommend a good 2 month study plan and recommended books?
Thanks guys.
