Hey guys, Much or Many?
I think MUCH is for onlyuncountable nouns or is the world changing ?

In SC section (Kaplan 800 for AD Sts) they give as an answer
A) " However much parents......." Can we use MUCH for PARENTS?
thank you

Is your concern that it sounds disrespectful using the word 'much' for parents?
If so then I'm afraid that's the way the language has evolved and used.

Many can't be used with sentences begining is this fashion because 'many' indicates a quantity, whereas the use of 'much' here does not indicate any definite quantity.

I think you met this kind of sentence:

27. However much United States voters may agree that there is waste in government and that the government as a whole spends beyond its means, it is difficult to find broad support for a movement toward a minimal state.

I remeber similar question about parents.

Actually, 'much' does not refer to voters or parents. Please read "however much may agree"
