I said on another thread that I wouldn't debrief, but I'm starting to think there actually might be value in sharing my experience.

Nothing sexy about my approach (if there could ever be anything sexy about the GMAT).

I used the following material:

Manhattan GMAT series and Advanced Quantitative
OG 12
OG Verbal 2

I took one of the official practice tests, got a 630. Then I opened the first book on the MGMAT series, and worked from the first to the last page of the series.

That's it. I just went to work with what I had. Obsessed a little bit over the GMAT though, that's for sure. I would like to think that it is possible to get even better scores without having the damn thing take over your life (for two weeks before the exam for me, anyway)

3 solid weeks prior to the exam, where I had the luxury to concentrate on the GMAT alone, and about 20 hours altogether from early March.

4 CATs altogether, first one, and three during the last three days of prep! lol

Can't help but think I got a tad lucky.

I went 630 -- 680 -- 690 -- 680, then 710 on test day!

On whether I am happy or not with my score.... if I become convinced that it is good enough for top 3, then yes. If not, no. Right now I don't know the answer to that question.
