There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
In-state tuition at UCLA...waiting to find out about any financial award. It wil be tough..I am wondering whether Duke will loosen their purses if I write them a polite letter to reconsider me for merit-based aid.
That's awesome. Which will it be, Duke or UCLA?

Thanks everyone. BTW, I had a crap interview with UCLA. The admissions officer shot down whatever I said and kept interrupting me. Make sure you keep your cool and don't look too much in to your interview performance. In most cases, you would have performed much better than you think.
When you are there talk to as many students as you can before the interview. It will help you relax. It is a no stress interview. Try to show that you are a social person and will fit in to the friendly Fuqua culture. You will get a sense of the culture when you are there. It isn't something that is simply written on the brochures. You can pretty much talk to any student or watch current students interact at the Fox centre to get a sense of the culture. Good luck !
MUst be feeling good.. I cant wait for my first admit, so that I can relax a bit.. Been crappy with everyone at home
BTW - I am flying to Duke on 4th Feb.. Any tips on interview?
