Indian + IT + Male + 700 GMAT + (Social work with organizations like CRY + SOS + member of Rotary club + took up endeavors like collecting basic amenities for drought and earthquake hit areas + participated in AIDS awareness programs + planning to start a non profit yoga institute) .

I am not very eager to boast off my services for the society as the intention behind it is to return back to the society, whatever you have taken, to the maximum possible extent.

As far as team building activities are concerned, my plans for an automobile club has almost materialized and looking forward to get it registered. Also, I have represented my school at the state level in table tennis and in debates.

Will these achievements and endeavors of mine can give me an edge over rest of my contemporaries. Pls let me know.

Thanks

The NP Yoga institute is an interesting thing and with the other charitable/social organizations you would have to substantiate your efforts within those organizations.. And of course leadership or presidency as in the Auto club will add significantly to your profile..

Of course I'd still recommend you to speak to Hjort who'll be of much more detailed and quality help than I.

I am not concerned by four years of work experience- this should be sufficient for most schools. As others have mentioned, I would aim for a GMAT of around 700 since you refer to two Top Cluster Europe schools (LBS and INSEAD) and I am guessing you are interested in the ultra elite and elite cluster schools of the US.

If you have not already done so, I would seek advice from other forums as well to gain additional perspective on your candidacy.

A few questions for you:

Do you have extensive international experience or experience working with other cultures?

If ask what distinguishes you from people witha similar background, what would you respond?
