Hey there ,

I have this doubt if a part time mba and a full time mba have the same value ? and after completion pf a part time MBA while we get the degree , would there be any remark saying "done as part time" or something ?

and assuming like MBA full time from ESADE and MBA part time from ESADE , would have the same effect on my career ? or is full time better in perspective of career and salary ?

Asking kindly ,

Fudge

Fudge,

Full-time is usually better for career-changers. Part-time usually is more geared to career enhancers.

Oh thank you linda !
And I had one more one question regarding it , is the certification the same when we get an mba degree from an institution for full time and part time ?
would there be any difference in the weightage of the degree if done part time ?

There is no difference in terms of the credential. You get an MBA not an MBA FT or an MBA PT. Some feel that the FT MBA is the gold standard and better regarded. Others feel differnetly. My take: it depends why are getting the MBA. if you want to change function, industry, or both, then the FT program is better. if you want to grow in your current position or make only minor career changes, then the part-time may be better.

Best,
Linda
