I give up on SC. last week has been miserable. I tried last 3 weeks. am nowhere close to getting anything right on SC. Tried to re start quant, realize that I am way too low on confidence. I am disgusted with myself, for trying too hard to follow MGMAT study plan (online class). I went wrong there. I started well earlier with quant, moved smooth to CR but that was before I started the class. I was almost in tears. Thats when I logged in today to write my frustration. I wont give up. will re frame my study plan and re start tomorrow on. Will re start quant again with basics, MGMAT guides. finish everything smooth. Move to OG. then simultaneously start CR and see how things move. Then will try to hit back SC and finally RC. If anyone can help me with more precise SC study plan would be of real big help.

Finally I gather some courage to write back in the forum. Started with number properties again. Its getting better. Following MGMAT thoroughly. No other study plans, not even online class. Within 4 weeks I wish to complete all quant guides.

Number Property Guide went very well. I have read the book and solved each problems numerous times. Went through all Thursdays with Ron class recordings. Browsed forum and (ongoing) solved as many problems as I could. Was weak in Absolute values, but the class recordings helped well. Now will start OG today.

OG PS went better than DS. actually DS seems to be weak currently with number properties. Will need to review my workings today and see where I went wrong. For most PS that went wrong, I did not assess the questions correctly. So guess I need to take some more time to read the questions carefully I believe.

VIC inequality not very exciting. Its more difficult than I thought. Is it really important to know solving these problems graphically? Not sure, as I am unable to do so....I know its easier and quicker, but could not quite grasp that yet. Last 2 weeks were turbulent - could not study much. Trying to recover.

I have been a nerd these few weeks - budget time, no time to focus on studies. finished VIC finally with all untimed OG recommended problems. realized my weakness somewhat is Sequence - so request you all to share some tips on that (more simpler way to understand). will be starting word translations now. advice me - if i am going right by doing OG untimed currently. I am not still confidant on time mgt of the exam.

Started Word Translations this week - should finish it by this weekend. Combinatorics & probability is not that all easy. Need some reviews in those areas. Will refer to high school books as well and then the materials of the club. That is all for this week. Will update next week

I am still struggling with Combinatorics & probability. Covered MGMAT though, yet going through the forum, I feel I aint confidant of the subject. Taking bit more time. On top of it, job change. I am feeling lost. But trying best to keep my spirits hight. Reading a book now by Brian Tracy - Eat that frog - is a good booster now. I will get there....

Hi Tobbe89 - MGMAT is great in Quant, but I did not find their Verbal that strong (though will revise again). My focus now though is Quant. I plan May 2012 (definitely before pattern change). Target is 750.Thanks Laker7, would be great if you all share inputs to help me on..... Next guide I start is FDP.

Found Walkers Combinatorics review post. The practice links there are great. Did that past 2 days. I am closing in on the topic now. Inequalities I will review next along with statistics.

Gave some wise thought to my ongoing concern SC.....read many reviews good ones on the affordable SC course of E-gmat. Will bank on it now. sounds quite impressive course. I need absolute spoon feeding on this section. To me this course seems good, tried MGMAT did not benefit much out of it. their materials are slightly advanced for me, I say this cos "spoon feed" is what i need. anyone can share their advices will be great.....

took the e-gmat diagnostic. scored 53%. poor, but it says i qualify for 2nd level. but i will now go through the free level 1 basic modules. will then sign in for level one applications and then go to level 2. i guess i can do that, rather than jumping into level 2 direct
