my gmat question on 1 october 2011 [#permalink]

question1 : a company has 8 telephone lines . if 4 telephones lines have to b made by company .what is the probability that they are each made on different line?
A 100/256
b 98/256
c 105/256
d 101/128
e 102/256

qquestion2: a book has 234 pages .if you open at random .what is the prob. is multiple of 12 but not multiple of 8?
A 1/117
b 11/234
c 5/117
d 3/117
e 7/117

Question 2:
All such pages are 12, 36, 60, 84, 108, 132, 156, 180, 204, 228.
So, the probability is 10/234=5/117.
The answer is (C)
