My GMAT Study Schedule [#permalink] New post 10 Jan 2010, 01:46
Hi Friends

I am planning to give my GMAT on the 26th of April(Not registered yet). Following is my study plan. Any comments/feedback would be highly appreciated. Some points to be noted are, i will be able to spend 1 hr a day during weekdays and 3 hrs a day during weekends/holidays.So approximately 10hrs a week. Basically i have provided the order in which i will be studying. The plan starts from tomorrow -

1.Kaplan Premier online 2010 : Maths Section
2.Kaplan Premier online 2010 : Maths Practice test provided in the book
3.Princeton free CAT : only maths
4.Kaplan Premier online 2010 : Verbal Section
5.Kaplan Premier online 2010 : Verbal Practice test provided in the book
6.Princeton free CAT : only Verbal

8.Manhattan fractions and decimals
9.Manhattan Word translations
10.OG 12 Math Review section
11.MGMAT SC

Thanks for your immediate response. I know its a lot. Do you have a suggestion to reduce the study schedule or do you think this is fine.

You'll feel it as you go through it - some things will be redundant/unhelpful - you'll figure it out.
It is not a precise science and depends on your pace, background, and patience.

No red flags, so don't worry.

How long (obviously it varies by individual) would you suggest it would take someone to prep for GMAT if the individual has no job or school to worry about. I'm going to off work for 8 weeks coming up and am hoping this is enough time. Ideally I would like to score 700+, but I have some work to do. I've been out of school for quite some time and will have to refresh myself considerably.

it depends on how consistent and disciplined you are with your study schedule. I guess you can finish it off in a month if you are free all the time.
