this one is good Hardworker. Let me go by POE

C and D have modifier issue. So out.
E is the only one that removes 'person' and avoids redundancy. However it looks awkward though. You wouldnt tell anyone about your Grandmother the way E puts it.

b/w A and B, I choose A as it is 'active'.

I will go with D
I dont see why it is a modifier problem?? To me E seems to have a modifier problem
Of all the persons I have met, the most remarkable person is ABC
The use of person twice looks redundant!
So ABC out!

I'd go for C. Somehow, I do not see the misplaced modifier issue in it, as the sentese starts with a clause, and henc ethe misplaced modifier rule does not apply here

Hmm..I need some rest...A visibily has redundancy - 'person'. D avoids such redundancy as explained by Srijay.

This was a Paul question long time ago.

D it is. 3 reasons:

1) No modifier.
2) Removal of redundant person.
3) It holds the suspense by bringing Grand mother at the end.

Usage of "Person and Persons" in A/B/C makes the sentence wordier and awkward. Grandmom is a person. She is indeed one of those "persons" (or people). However this should not be emphasized again. That makes it redundant.
Between D & A, D is short/precise and takes care of redundancy.
E - If you take out .., of all....., "My grandmother is the most remarkable" seems to change the meaning.
