My IBT / PBT experience (107/650) [#permalink]
17 Feb 2010, 13:45
I've just received my scores:
IBT 107 (R 27; L 30; S 26; W 24)
My strategy for the speaking part was to speak about random subjects non-stop for a month. It helped me a lot. For the other parts, I did exercises from the Longman book.
My goal was 109, the writing part definitely lowered my overall score. I thought I would get a 27. What do you think about requesting ETS a re-score?
PBT 650 (Listening 63; Grammar 68; Reading 64)
My tip here is use the Longman book (the Paper version) to master every grammar rule. This test is so much easier than the IBT and it is not accepted at Harvard only. All the other schools accept the PBT!!
I hope this helps!!!
