My mock test scores [#permalink] New post 31 Mar 2010, 12:46
Hi Guys,

I am going to take my GMAT in less than 2 weeks from now. Following are my mock test scores. But I am still not confident since I have read posts from people who scored less than 700 but scored more on actual tests. Similarly, there are examples of people who scored exceptionally well on mock tests but could not do good on the D day.

So I am little skeptical at this point and a little nervous.

MGMAT1 700 - Q49 V36
MGMAT2 730 - Q51 V38 - Taken 3/24/10
MGMAT3 710 - Q50 V36 - Taken 3/30/10
MGMAT4 700 - Q49 V36 - Taken 3/31/10 (Got Q49, However, it was my best performance on MGMAT).
GMAT CAT2 (Old Version) - 730 Q51 V38
GMAT CAT1 (New Version - 2nd attempt) - 730 Q50 V40

Few encouraging words may help, I guess.

your practice scores are awesome :) 700+ on all!!!

be sure to take the rest of the mgmat cat's. if you can score similarly on those, i'd say you are on track for around 730 :)

maybe do gmat club challenges for extra practice till your test?

Your scores are pretty good. As long as you don't suffer the test day jitters, am sure you should be able to perform well. I am assuming these scores are for the tests with the AWA sections attempted as well.

You should be fine. Your quant and verbal scores have stayed quite constant. Some people that score well on mock tests but not good on the real thing have scores that fluctuate (i.e. getting 730 with high Q/low V and then again with Low Q/High V) - then on test day they score on the low ranges of both.
