Well there is no fixed profile that MiM schools love, i guess diversity is the key. If you can prove you bring something different to the table, which would add value to the batch. You can get in top schools even with low GPA scores and relatively average GMAT. Google MiM-Essay, our site has loads of information on the Masters in Management degree and how to get into one.
Well as for your profile evaluation
No..... work ex is not a problem, as the MiM is targeted towards young graduates and working professionals with less than 2-3 years of work ex.
But i am sure you can mention part time jobs, or other volunteering works you have done, & basically highlight the skills you have gained from them. This will help a lot, as most of your competition already has decent work ex.
For the top 3 grand ecoles you can aim for a GMAT above 680, to maximize your chances. Above 700 and with good essays, you would surely get an interview call.
For your CGPA, schools consider how hard the grading system is & don't blindly draw the line at a 9.0 CGPA. So if you have a decent percentile you should be ok, also you can explain in your essays the reason why you think you CGPA is low( i hope you were doing something interesting along with your studies, so highlight that)
Extracurricular activities are the strongest levers to attract the ad com, and must be highlighted. If you have association or volunteering experience. Highlight your achievements, your learning and what skills you gained, It will go a long way
Knowing French is awesome! This will surely get you some brownie points with the Ad comm ( The interview panel gave me a really hard time, about my knowledge of french)
