Hi,
Here is my profile:

Toefl-110(Ibt)
Decent acads:
BE Electronics (67% aggr) from Mumbai.
Good extracurriculars:
President of a student body in college(500 Members). This student body had a budget of over 1 lac Rupees annually. I was also the Treasurer of this body.
Cultural secretary, participated regularly in college events( Have loads of participation and winninw Certis for debate and GDs)
Regular trekker( also lead treks)
Biking enthusiast( have traveled to ladakh on bike for a 2 week expedition)
Trained for 5 years in hindustani classical music. Have won competitions at college and district level.
Work Ex: 3 yrs by the time i apply in fall 08
started off as a tester, moved to a team lead position, won 2 awards ( one team award, one valuable contribution award)..
average community service)...
How do u rate my profile? I am interested in switching over to finance. General management/consulting is second preference. How do you perceive/evaluate people who wish to do a general MBA as opposed to someone who has a finance/marketing specialisation pre-planned?

I am planning to apply to :
Rochester Simon
Duke Fuqua
Ohio Fisher
Vlerick Belgium
Nanyang Singapore.
Warwick/Manchester in UK

Thats the list as of now. I am planning to app to 10 colleges. So any suggestions of colleges most welcome.
Eager to hear from you guys.

The average Indian IT guy is percieved as having a 700+ GMAT...So you do need to increase ur GMAT else you will fall behind....you also need to find a differentiator in ur profile
