Hi guys,

I took my GMAT last Saturday and scored as indicated above.
It is really surprising because during the last 5 mock tests (MGMAT and GMATprep) I have been continiously scoring at least 720. My latest verbal preparation was with MGMAT Sentence Correction and the retired LSAT tests (for RC and CR).

[highlight]I definately understand one reason for the failure - I never took the tests with AWA, so it is quite possible that my real score was damaged by mental fatique[/highlight]. I really did not see any tough questions on the Verbal and could definately solve the majority of them with confidence.

But maybe you, guys, have some other suggestions with respect to my low score in addition to that mentioned above?

I am really aiming at top-5 B-schools whose median score is 720. Do you think I should retake?

For the top 5, the spread of GMAT Scores goes between 770 and 680 for the 80%, so you are in there, in the spread. The average of course is 720.

I would say - pick what you can improve the most in the next xxx months/years before the app deadline and work on that. (It does not look like it is the GMAT since you took it 3 times.)
