Hi! I took the Knewton Free CAT today This is how i performed: Verbal:37 correct, 5 incorrect. score = 43 (96 percentile) Quant:
34 correct, 3 incorrect. score = 49 (87 percentile) (I marked wrong answers for ques 9, ques 36 and ques 37) Overall = 750 (99 percentile) Please clarify the following:1) In quants, GMAT prep awarded me 51 for 4 incorrect ques, 50 for 7 incorrect ques. How does the scoring method for Knewton works? Do I have to answer all questions correctly to get a 51?? 2) Was it because of the 2 wrong answers at the end of quants, that I got 49?? Does finishing a section with a right answer matter so much. 3) What is level of difficulty of Knewton's free CAT compared to the actual GMAT. I need this information in order to decide whether to go for the paid course or not. I have taken 6 MGMAT CATs, which I found to be tough compared to GMAT prep.

I smell rat in these Knewton reviews. These are very well organised review compared to other gmatprep reviews and final questions such as "did you get refund?", "how was your overall experience?" etc are not answered well or at all. They also seem to have business relations with all the gmat blogs.

Dear acer2knight, Which course ( of Knewton ) did you actually take? The course with regular price of US$ 690 ( i.e. Premium Live ) or the one with US$ 350 ( i.e. Complete Prep )? Sorry if this question is a redundant one. I am a gonna-be student of Knewton. I must say, I am impressed reading the reviews about Knewton. I am researching how much value does it add ( if any ) with the extra US$340 for the "Live Sessions" to the GMATees' prep. If the live sessions don't add that value ( by a considerable amount ), I am gonna purchase their Complete Prep for US$ 350 ( regular price ). Thanks for your reply! P.S.: Did you get your money-back as there was 50+ pt guarantee?

Knewton has had a strong following due to a new/innovative approach and business model.

Thanks, bb! I will delete all other similar posts of mine which I posted in other discussions. I don't want to cross the 200-post border just by spamming (!) when my queries will already have been answered.
Just one Q! Is the offer still valid ( that, if my number of posts exceed 200, I will get the full-free access to all the question sets of GMATClub.com )?
