overall, heat's looking really good. Very strong players with good bench. Mavericks played well tonight too (I thought so) and there were certainly a few non-calls that could've made a difference (chalmers' uncalled backcourt violation at the end of 1st quarter).

there's a big difference between talent and skill. you can hire a coach, practice in the gym all day and learn skill. but never talent. the heat is just talented and skilled. so that's going to be hard to beat.

dirk tried to pull again one of his mid-range jump-shots to tie the game....didn't happen lol. now, i have a prediction, dallas the playing the hell out of him. i will predict that are some point during the series, maybe next game or something, he's going to blow out of steam. that's jut my opinion of what will happen because they rely on him way too much to make plays.

we'll see, jetty. It's coming down to the wire. I think it'll be a 7-game series, and I still can't really tell you which team has the edge. Overall, it looks like the heat's playing better ball games overall. But who knows? Once you have someone like dirk fired up, it's all up in the air.

dirk's got to be in the moment. if he ain't, it ain't workin'

so far, all the games have been relatively close, and those that are won by the mavs were all done so by a long-stretch in the 4th. if anything, i think the heat needs more endurance in the 4th quarter, seems like they're kinda running out of steam.

Mavs won because they ended up okay.

Heat lost because they ended up choking.
