need a 570 - how hard is this to achieve [#permalink] New post 19 Jan 2012, 15:17
The school that I applied to stated that I need a 570 on the GMAT to be competitive for admission. This is based on a review of my grades, transcripts, etc stuff.

I have not taken the test yet and just wanted to get a feel for "how hard" it will be to make this score.

Thanks everyone....

That's around a 55 percentile.

Depending on your starting point, you could potentially require zero prep.

Take a practice test. If you feel confident and score above 570, I'd schedule the test. If you want to blow the baseline score out of the water to a much stronger candidate, a month of proper prep could do that.
