I just finished my GMAT, and my score was not up to par 510(Q 38, V22) but I am not ready to give up. Its tough not to be discouraged because my attitude towards taking tests has always been to take exam once and pass, so I give it all my best the first time, or so I think. This has always worked for me (CPA, CISA) but GMAT seem to take a different turn, so I need a new plan that I can follow and be rest assured that I will get a good score.
I started studying seriously for GMAT in January 2012 while I was on maternity leave. Returned to work in Feb after two months so I was able to study at night or in the morning before going to work. I reviewed all the 8
MGMAT books to refresh on the basics since I have been out of college for about 7 years. I went through all the quantative section for OG11&OG12 as well as the verbal section for OG12. Did 6
MGMAT CATs and 2 GMAT prep tests.
Given that I have reviewed a lot of materials while preparing the first time 'am not sure how to proceed.
In the mean time, I get to spend more time with my baby while I decide on a new strategy...............I guess my promise of a study free summer is out the window!!!!!
