My dad owns a business which is a private organization and my future is to take over that business someday. I have plans of pursuing a MBA degree so that I can manage things well. I'm having a job offer in a software company. I badly need advice on what MBA course should I be opting for should I take the software job and show it as work experience or should I be doing something else?

I would encourage you to work for your family business as this experience is unique and business schools really value it. If you do work for your family business, be on the lookout from day 1 for people who can be recommenders for you when you do apply. The biggest issue that I have advising candidates who work for family businesses is they have trouble securing recommendations as most schools will not accept them from family members.

Good luck.
