You have an interesting-sounding profile, other than your lack of community involvement. I can't really advise you one what to get involved in... This needs to come from you. What are you passionate about?

Don't force it. Base it on something you truly care about. For instance, you could teach karate to young children, if that's what you enjoy.

Scott, thanks. I believe my passion lies in helping others who are in unfortunate cirumstances...such as people who were affected by Katrina. The problem is I travel and work up to 100 hour/week so have very little time to get involved. What do you suggest? Are their various organization I can contact?

Sorry, I don't hav eanything specific to suggest, but I'll emphasize again that this must be something that you're truly passionate about. If it looks like you just hurried up and joined something this year to make your apps look good, that will obvioulsy hurt you.

Don't view it as a "check the box" exercise. View it as a way to show adcomms what you're really interested in. If it's karate and other things outside of community involvement, so be it.
