Hi all,
I am Harsh Agrawal & am an Indian. Am absolutely new to this forum and have found this to be a great place.
As the topic suggests, I am looking for some info on One Year Program in Finance. The only college that I have been able to find, matching my criteria is London Business School's MiF. BTW, am looking to apply for 2012 sesion.
About my Profile:
I am a 22 yr old commerce graduate from an unknown place & college.(Score - 63.17%/100 ~2.74/4.33)
Have done my MBA(Finance) from a top 10 B-school in India in the year 2009(GPA - 5.69/10 ~2.46/4.33 ). Since March, I have been working with a government owned bank in the risk management specifically looking at Asset Liability Management & Market Risk. By the time I apply for the course I wud have 40 months work ex (min req is 24 mths).
I have not taken GMAT yet, but am pretty sure that I would get >700.
To compensate for my lack of experience, I have applied for FRM (GARP) and with all your wishes, hope to clear it. Also, aspire to do some levels of CFA, before application, if I am done with FRM.
The major issue with my profile is that I do not have a quant background, so almost all nice schools in US are out of my league as they are very quantitative in nature (like tepper, haas, UCLA). Have looked at Said, Judge, LBS and MIT Sloan finance masters course, but am sure that I am missing a few.
So, I solicit your advice. It would be very kind of you all to share your knowledge here. I am absolutely novice at studying abroad thing. Hope to see some replies soon.
Thanks in anticipation.
