Hi all,
First time posting in GMAT club although I've been reading lots of tips and advices here.
I am writing today to ask your advice what would be the best approach for me to improve the GMAT score.
I have been stuck at the same GMAT score for so long. I think I need to change my mindset and approach in dealing with GMAT. Below is my history of official scores.
April 2014: 620 (V34, Q41) - read
MGMAT roadmap and diagnostic test from
OGJun 2014: 640 (V31, Q47) - half through
OGSept 2014: 640 (V28, Q49) - finished
OGMar 2015 : 640 (V31, Q47) - just did practice tests and practiced only tough Quant questions
My target score is 710+ (Q50, V35+) and the next test date is left with exactly 31 days, which is the next deadline for my Waitlist. And I can dedicate 260 hours in total.
My plan is to go through my weakness areas with
MGMAT books - SC/CR as well as Quant Word problems/Probability to master its basics and approaches. And utilise question banks in gmatclub and GWD problem sets. Of course, I will take Practice test every week and review.
Now, I am wondering if above methodology is enough and if below options can be also helpful.
- Purchase online courses like GMATpill or
Magoosh to solve as many problems as possible with video explanations
- Hire private tutor for guidance in a better structured way
This is my last chance and I want to spend my last month as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Please help me~~~
