Hello.

I am planning to apply for HKUST 2013 intake.

The file I uploaded is the reference form HKUST put on its website.

My question is if I need to ask my recommenders to fill out those "open comments".

Is it better to fill out all of the "open comments" ? (There are eight criteria like the ones shown in the file I uploaded)

Or is it better to fill out some of the "open comments" that show my strength.

Or is it ok to leave them out and just fill out the question after them.
(There is only one question that is asking about an applicant with 100 word limit.)

I am really confused...pleasee help me!!!!!

It's always an advantage to have as much meaningful, anecdotal evidence as possible, so I would recommend they fill out as much as they can. If they cannot comment anecdotally on your forms, it's likely they are a poor choice of recommender.
