need advice with my profile [#permalink]

Hello,
I am 24 years old, from Spain; i will like to get some advice, since i do not know if i should apply for a master of management. I am going to proceed to describe my profile:
- graduate in business administration and management, specialized in finance, mark of 7/10(2006-2011)
- internship in commercial banking, like cashier, 2,5 months( june-august 2011)
- Toefl Ibt 97 ( I will repeat it on the early february)
-Gmat: I am going to do it the 22 of January ( Gmat prep I: 610)
From September 2011 until March 2012 I went to England to improve my english, then I came to Spain in order to find a job, but it is almost impossible.
My principal problem is my lack of professional experience, because i finished my degree in June 2011, and since then I have only worked 2,5 months.
Do you think that i have possibilities of being accepted in the master of management of : Imperial College, Hec Paris ( master in strategic management), essec, edhec, IE or Esade.

Hi Alex, Possibilities of being admitted depends a lot on how you position yourself in application essays & demonstrate leadership skills & professional achievements during your final interview. The schools you have mentioned are good ones in Europe. Apart from them, you can also target schools for Masters in US like: Yale, Columbia and Tepper. Hi askshekhar, Thank you for your advice; I am considering only european business schools, because there isn't any Master in management in the united states, only in Duke; and also because I would like to work in europe after the Master. Regards Alex Posted from my mobile device

I am not too familiar with any of the other programs, but a 610 will not cut it for HEC or Imperial (probably will not cut it for any top program). I would advise you to spend a month or two an really get some good studying time in. If you are starting at a 610, a 700 is certainly doable. Are you applying to pre-professional degrees (i.e. those that do not require work experience)?

Hi commdiver,
Thank you for your advice, i am applying to pre experience masters, because i have only an intership of 2,5 months ( despite I am 24), I would like to apply in the mid of february, do you think it is too late or it is ok?

Hi commdiver,
I will not aply now because i am going to do the Gmat the 22 of january, and the Toefl in the early february (I have 97 in the toefl, but I need at least 100), maybe I could apply before doing the Toefl; I am preparing now the career development questions that I have to submit.
