Thank you for using the timer!
We noticed you are actually not timing your practice. Click the START button first next time you use the timer.
There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
The first time: Q 86 percentile V 83 percentile Total 710
The second time: Q 85 percentile V 97 percentile Total 760
As you can see, after one year of preparation, most improvement is in the verbal section. Given that I am a Chinese immigrant working as an engineer, that my undergrad GPA is 3.3, and that my target schools are Tuck, Fuqua, and Johnson, does it make sense for me to get a higher Quant score?
Absolutely not! With a 760, and over 80% quant, you have no reason to retake. In my opinion, you will have a very good chance of not improving your score, and will also show that you are concentrating in the wrong areas. Your GMAT is done, and you destroyed it, now move onto the other important parts of your application. The only reason to retake when you have such a high score is if your quant was below 70% percentile, and you got a 99.9% verbal... and with yours above 80% you are great. Your score shows very strong understanding of both sections, and will definitely get a "very strong GMAT" checkbox from any Adcom.
Your GMAT will not hold you back, only the rest of your application will. So get on it! Good luck _________________
