Need help assessing. [#permalink] New post 10 Aug 2011, 22:02
I have been killing myself getting ready for the GMAT. I am way above average on the verbal and it is a rare occurence that I would miss a question, but quantitative is a whole other deal! I love math, but am horrible at it. I just took the quantitative version of the practice test offered through the GMAT software and score a - ugh - 43 (with 18 misses).

I have a heck of a time with probabilities and the work problems, but have been killing myself. I frequent Princeton Review, the official GMAT software, my OG GMAT study book and, of course, spend as much time as I can on GMATclub to hit the questions people post for help on. Does anyone know of any other resources I could use for quantitative review/learning? Does anyone have any tricks, concepts or pointers on how to study? I am working on a shoestring, so my options are limited to a stressed pocket book.

Also, does anyone have any idea what kind of score a 42V / 43Q / 5.5AVA como would produce?

Thanks,

Rowdy

I've been studying combinatorics and probability with the Combinatorics Veritas book, it has been really helpful... for work problems, the Manhattan books are good... I got the complete set and they provide some good strategies for solving almost all type of problems.

Hey, this is phenomenal! Is this an official chart or an estimate?

As far as I know it's nothing official--just an estimate.
