I have a tough decision to make on Fuqua vs. Stern vs. Goizueta. I have been offered full tuition at Goizueta, a small portion of tuition at Fuqua and no money from Stern. My career goals are to go into strategic planning with the intention of working internationally at some point, but I may recruit for consulting internships as well.
I think that I can reach my career goals from any of these choices, but I am worried about the business school experience. I've pretty much decided against Stern at this point and I am leaning toward Fuqua, but feel that I could be turning down a huge opportunity at Goizueta. I recognize that they are steadily gaining prestige and moving up in the rankings, but I don't know that it would help me much from a network perspective. (I am a native Atlantan, and already have significant connections to Emory through work, friends, and volunteering.) I want to get out of Atlanta and experience new networks and a new city! Financially, I also have property with tenants in Atlanta that covers the majority of my living expenses, so outside of opportunity costs from not working, the Emory degree is virtually free. Is the Fuqua experience (and network) worth the extra ~$60k-$80k that I would be passing up at Emory?
