I know my GPA is mediocre, but here's what I have.

GPA: 2.9
Major: Economics
GMAT:720
Work Experience: Fortune 500, 36 months, 2 promotions.


I'm looking for advice on where to apply, and my chances at the below schools:

Columbia University
Dartmouth College
Duke University
Yale University
Cornell University
Cambridge University

Any advice would be great

Your GPA is on the low side but your GMAT Score helps make up for it. Your work experience seems fine (3 years with promotions) so it really comes down to how you stand out in your application. Obviously there's nothing you can do about your GPA but if you can stand out in your "story" then any of those schools are possible and within reach.

Generally Columbia would be a bit more competitive with the stats you have but you can still apply and see what happens. The others can be possible as well.
