i have decent experience of 3 year in the utility company with a decent academic profile. i have interest in supply chain management is planning to APICS CSSP certification. My question is will this certification give me an edge during my admission process??

Although I'm not familiar with this accredidation, I think that any achievement can help with admissions for an MBA. I don't know how big of a deal this one is, but the more qualified you are, the better chance you can have to get in. Since its not like a CFA or CPA or PhD, it's probably not going to help a whole lot, but it will definitely be a positive. Your goal is to bring many of these positives to help give you that overall solid profile. Good luck!
