Hi All,
I am having dificulties with RCs. My current hit rate on OG is 60%. How can improve this? I have exhausted all the RC's in OG 11.

Focus, take brief summarizing notes and read actively. I tend to do best when I ignore the clock (within reason...) with these questions as well.

I should let it be known though that all verbal is to me is just FOCUS and being in the right frame of mind. I know that may sound totally stupid, but it's the difference between a 40 and 43 for me.

thanks M83. Focus is the key to GMAT. I ma trying to sumarrize the passages .. I am ok sometime but when time is a constraint ... my hit rate is very bad.

rao,

see if Gin's technique works for you. Gin has put together a list of strategies for RC's. I improved a lot practicing with his techniques.

also, I suggest using the GMATTER. GMATTER has 100's of passages for practice.

This is walker's debrief. Look for Gin.doc attachment. Follow this strategy religiously on a few RC's. Don't time urself. Try to understand the passage. You will see rapid results. Good Luck
