Hey man,

I have heard that Kaplan's CATs give you significantly lower scores than usual. If you really want to know how well you're progressing I suggest you take a MGMAT CAT to see how you're doing. I have been studying for 4 weeks now and am almost done with the Quant portion. One thing that keeps me going is a CAT every weekend to monitor my progress and see if there's improvement. The more I improve the more I continue to study...

Oh, don't be discouraged.... Took me 9 months and three attempts to go from 620 (my first GMAT Prep Test score) to 750 (Actual GMAT score on my final attempt)

:)

Just stay in there! Don't give up....

yes CAT is very good to monitor progress...my math is quiet good,, i was performing well in university,,But GMAT is very specific,,actually is seems to be very easy, but there are so many Details..and also time is my greatest weakness.. Hope i will find new incentive and new motivation not to give up..

Wow you have PLENTY of time lol so don't stress... I plan on taking mine middle of November and should have over 100 hours in by the week before the exam... I work full-time now and spend 2 hours daily after work and 5 each day on weekends... My gf and my friends hate my commitment but I am quite confident it will pay off in the end. As long as you have a set schedule to tackle each section and continue to review your weaknesses after each CAT you will do more than well... Good luck!!
