i am a 24 year old indian, female with a gmat score of 690. i have about 2.5 years of work experience and will have 3 by the time B-school starts. i worked in a control system japanese company as an enginenr for 6 months and through my interactions with customers i realised that consulting was where i wanted to be. after some research i joined satyam Computers as an ERP consultant in the domain of Human Resource Management, and joined the oracle team. this was a good job, i was appreciated by peers and seniors alike and did 2 good projects for clients in England. got a lot of exposure to international clients and also have trained a team in this domain. then came the icing on the cake i was assigned to be the only consultant for a functional job for WHO, Philipines. now this is a one year assignment. if i take this up i cannot do my MBA in 2006. will a project like this enhance my application. after all every body does not get to work for the WHO.
please let me know. but i am extremely keen on doing an MBA in 2006.
will be great if you could help me decide

It sounds to me like you're very enthusiastic about the project. You're the only one who can decide, but if it were up to me, I'd go for it. A project like that can only enhance your application, but more than that, it sounds like it would be a great experience and one that you would really enjoy. The MBA will still be around in 2007; it's not going anywhere.
