Need some help/advices from experienced peers on the forum [#permalink] New post 26 Aug 2010, 11:23
Hi all

My question is very simple, yet I could not figure out the answer so I was hoping you guys could help me...

I was a pre-dental in undergrad and while I'm applying to dental schools, I became very interested in the business industry. I have no previous experience on the subject except the occassional talk with my parents regarding stocks and management/running the company (my parent's company).

1. Is there any way to help me gain exposure and understanding to finance and marketing management? I do not understand the nature of those two management but they sound really interesting.

2. I am currently writing my resume and it looks crappy because I have no idea how to write a resume and I don't have any paid work experience...I only have volunteer experience in hospitals. Could I post my resume somewhere to get some critiques and help on it?

I think I'm sure if I were to go the path of business, I'd want to go for something investment, finance, or marketing management related fields...

Please help me and move this thread to where it is suppose to be.

Thank you very much
