GMAT Score: 730 (Q49, V46); AWA 5.5
Work Experience: Big 4 Audit experience of more than 3 years with consistent growth within the firm. Worked in Middle east for 2 years & moved to NY in the past year. Currently serving as a senior auditor supervising teams of 6-7 people.
Schooling: UG in Accounting and Finance (3 years) from one of the top universities in India. Graduated top of my class.
Extra Curricular: Loads during college such as, served as treasurer of the Rotary club; VP of the Hostel union. Cultural Secretary for the Student Union. After college doing volunteer work in the community on and off but nothing very significant.
Career goals: Want to break into the PE world but heard its difficult especially for people with no prior PE experience, my only experience in the PE front is auditing these funds.
My target schools: Columbia; NY Stern; Chicago Booth; Wharton & Cornell.
Planning to apply for the 2010 admission cycle; preferably wish to join to submit my applications in R1 cycle
Would I be a good fit to my target schools? What would I need to build on to set me apart from my peers?
Can you suggest other schools where I would stand a good chance?
