A – The verb should be predict in line with the plurality of the nearest subject – investors
C – The director is the subject and predict is the verb --wrong
E. Of sunset III neither the director not (is it nor or not? Any typo) the investors predict is poorly structured.
Between B and D the only difference is the placement of the -in Sunset III - and -of sunset III-. Logically I feel that the inventors should not be separated from the Sunset III to make clear that they are investors who are particular to the investment in the film and not any general investors. Please note that the director is duly tied to the film with possessive pronoun –his- in Choice B. Hence B is logically better constructed than D. B is the choice

The same reason could be given to director, which is close to film sunsetIII in option D.
wouldn't it be right to say " investor of" and " director of" sunsetIII.

Please continue to read my answer fully. In B, the director is well tied to make it clear by the pronoun – its - that it is Sunset III’s director (I had by mistake typed it as –his-)

There is no issue about the director part in D.- Director of - is good enough It is only the investors’ part which is simply dangling without a connection to the film Sunset III. Hence D is a shade lower than B

I wouldn’t think anything wrong with the idiom - director of -; But -investors of - is a bit jarring. - Investors in - is the right one as one normally -invests in - something, as in B.

I feel too that B is better than D.
D - it is not clear investors of what, while in B "Sunset III" is placed near investor, and the pronoun "its" near director clearly refers to Sunset III, so it does not have any ambiguities...
