gum, the more flavor.
Which of the following, if true, would not
undermine the persuasive appeal of the
above advertisement?
(A) A package of Spring Mint Gum contains
twice as many sticks as a package

(B) Spring Mint Gum has more concentrated
flavor than Evergreen Gum.
(C) A stick of Evergreen Gum weighs only
50% as much as a stick of Spring Mint

(D) A package of Evergreen Gum costs
twice as much as a package of Spring
Mint Gum.

Expert's post
Option E actually strengthens the appeal of Evergreen Gum. The other choices might cause prospective customers to think twice.

What is the OA?

I thought that D would be a good choice too, but the fact that the bubble gum costs twice just undermines the argument.

If:
1) Evergreen has twice the volume of the Spring

and

2) Evergreen costs twice as much as Spring

then

they have the same value for the money
IMO, E

haha just shows how important it is to read the questions carefully. I was caught between A and D and choose D.

After reading the comments realized that it's E. Stupid mistake!
