Hi Everyone,
Manhattan GRE has recently developed a new section of our site that explains all of the differences between the current GRE and the new GRE. The new GRE will be given starting on August 1, 2011, and the current GRE will no longer be given once the new exam is available. This means that the last day to take the current exam is on July 31, 2011. If you would like any information on the changes that are coming in August you can find it here:
http://www.manhattangre.com/newGRE.cfmThese changes are of special importance to students planning to apply to grad school this fall. The scale on which the test is scored is changing with the new exam, and ETS will need time to calibrate that new scale. As a result, students may be unable to report scores from the new GRE to schools this fall if their school of choice has an application deadline in November or earlier. A full explanation of these dates are included at the link above.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any questions about the new GRE, please let me know and I'll be happy to answer them. Good luck with your studies!
Best Regards,
Taylor Dearr
