Interesting. Seems they got pretty excited by the floaty boxes or whatever the official term is for the mini-windows that appear when you hover over a picture.
thanks for pointing it out terp.

If that's your thought, wait til you see the campus :)

Did everyone else notice how much of an emphasis they're putting on getting applicants with <= 3 years of experience? This is the first time that I have seen that stat listed in a class profile.

Wow 41% with 3 yrs or less is way too low for my liking. BTW where are the number stats (GPA, GMAT, etc)?

HBS does not publish those as far as I know.

I think other schools also post how many have less than 3 yrs exp, but you're right, HBS is one of the few that seems excited by it :)

13% with PE/ VC background?

I think among 8,600 the applicants PE/VC representations is less than 13%. That also shows another fixation of HBS apart from young people.

H/S/W (and even more so, H/S) dominate the industry. It would make sense that they want to keep good relationships with it.

This recent statistic is just another thing that I think might be pushing me away from applying to HBS. :(

Whats amazing is more people come from PE/VC than IB...just goes to show what they are looking for. I am curious how other schools compare with the 3 years or less work experience.

I'd like to see more stats:

Admission rate with regards to age/we, geographical region, sex, industry, gmat rate, gpa, ethnicity, etc...

Almost all of those from PE/VC came from IB so you could basically add that number (with a discount) to the IB number to those who have done IB pre-MBA.

Good luck getting those stats. I'm sure if you call the admissions office they would be thrilled to give you all of the above.

HBS?

Hmmm looks like a decent enough school. I might take another look at it.

Yeah I'm really worried about the strength of the brand in New York City.
