Although the company’s founders certainly hoped that incorporating would increase their profit margin, no one, not even the founders, didn’t expect that the value of the stock would appreciate so quickly.
A. no one, not even the founders, didn’t expect
B. no one, not even the founders, expected
C. nobody, not even the founders, expected
D. nobody, not even the founders, didn’t expect
E. no one, even the founders, expected

I think the correct answer in B. the verb must be affirmati

nobody and no one mean the same. no one is formal and nobody is not.

(not) even the founders is a dependent clause. Between B & E, I choose B
