Questions 7-8: refer to the following information
In a marketing survey for products A, B, and C, 1,000 people were asked which of the products, if any, they use. The three circular regions in the diagram above represent the numbers of people who use products A, B, and C, according to the survey results. Of the people surveyed, a total of 400 use A, a total of 400 use B, and a total of 450 use C.

7. How many of the people surveyed use exactly one of the products?
(A) 75
(B) 100
(C) 150
(D) 250
(E) 325

8. What percent of the people surveyed use product A or product B or both, but not product C?
(A) 12.5%
(B) 17.5%
(C) 30%
(D) 40%
(E) 60%

Think that to first Q ans is E)
A only 400- 325=75
B only 400-300=100
C only 450-300=150

Hi
think that the ans to second q is 30%
people who use A -400-200=200
people who use B 400-172=225
so people who use A, B and A&B but not C are 425. 125 people should be substracted because they were counted twice once in A and once in B.
We get 300/1000=30%

30% is correct answer but I think we should separate as

A only = 75
B only = 100 and
A&B only = 125

Total 300 out of 1000, which is 30%.
