5) Quality of Career Services:
How is the Career Services department? Are they supportive/non-responsive. Do they go out of their way to develop strong relationships with recruiters, how are their resume reviews, cover letter prep, practice interviews, etc.? What's the buzz among the students?

Lots of questions, but thanks in advance to anyone who can offer some pointers...

Let's give that one an answer :)

Mendoza has a good connection to the big four in audit:

Stats of last years graduates (MBA):

Deloitte 5
Ernst & Young 5
PricewaterhouseCoopers 4
KPMG 3

Depending on what you want, this is a nice option. Also worth mentioning is that all of them have a consulting unit.

Hope that helps for anyone else that reads it - the question was quiet a while back :)

That would be false. Deloitte is the only big four with a consulting unit. The rest have advisory units.

No actually you're wrong. PWC has a consulting arm as well.

Deloitte was the only firm to retain it's consulting practice after enron went down.

-E&Y sold to Capgemini
-KPMG spun off Bearingpoint
-PwC sold to IBM

The other 3 are trying to get back into consulting. Most advisory group's give their employees "consultant" as a job title, but it is not truly consulting similar to Deloitte's S&O practice.

Sorry. You are actually the one who is mistaken. PwC just bought PRTM and DOES have a consulting arm again.
