C for me.

D and E have incorrect "and" at the beginning
B has an incorrect "like" comparison
A incorrectly uses "as in". Also "rather than" in C is much better than "and not" in A

another C.

in same line with BSD.

I got down to B and C. "like" in B eliminated it. I believe "like" is used for nouns

E is the OA ,i choose A,can somebody explain why E is the answer
