Number of questions in an RC passage [#permalink]
19 Aug 2007, 17:06
Hi
I have a question regarding the number of questions in an RC passage. While taking the powerprep exam I came to know that the total number of questions for a particular passage are not mentioned. Will this also be the same for the main GMAT exam?
Until now I would set some time by counting the number of questions. Suppose if it were 8 questions I would set 14 min for the para but now that if the number of questions are not mentioned I might need to take a different strategy.

Dividing time for the RC questions is not always a good strategy. Many a times, a long passage doesnt have more than 4 questions where as a short one can give us 6-8.
The main focus here should be on accuracy. You can buy time from the CR and SC questions.
