Number of times for GMAT [#permalink] New post 11 Mar 2009, 06:46
I have given the GMAT 4 times but have not hit the 700 score boundary. Does this reflect badly when I am applying to top schools? The way I was thinking was to prove my perseverance to get the score I wanted as long as it takes. Will schools take multiple attempts positively if my last score is, let's say, great.

You can report your highest score and that's the score they will consider. Don't worry about this too much.

How do you report only the top score? Don't the top three scores go to the school? Any inputs will be highly appreciated

Most applications ask you to self report your score, date taken and etc.

So just pick your highest scored GMAT exam, its date and etc. Adcom will take care of the rest. :-D

Can you mix and match your GMAT Score and AWA score from different tests?

I would not just because the assistant who will be going through your paperwork may flag it as inaccurate. AWA is small fish and unless you have a 2 or 3, I would not worry about it....
