So with the ''official'' deadline behind us, I thought I'd see if there are any gmatclub members out there who applied Here's my profile: Basics: 29/m/w GMAT: 640 Ugrad: 3.65 from strong US school WE: 5 years. Currently a forensic accountant Certs: CPA Essays: good Recs: good EC: some volunteer, so average.

Great essays, recs, ecs
Retook stat and econ this summer (A's) and tried to justify the low gpa (25 hour+ internships). Hopefully got my point across that i'd love to attend and can contribute. Good luck!

looks like they just raised the gmat range to 620-730. 610 doesn't cut it anymore.

I think an increase from 610 --> 620 isn't huge and I guess one could expect this trend to continue as MBA programs become more popular, including the part-time programs.
Side question: I haven't rec'd an email with a password to check on my application. If somebody rec'd this email, about how long did it take after submitting the application?

WE: 10 yrs (last 3 years as a manager. Manage a team)
Decent essays & Decent recs (assuming)
EC - ok, nothing great
I submitted everything (transcripts, Recs, essays etc) on 15-Sep. Got the acknowledgment email from Stern saying that my submission is successful. After that, haven't got any email with password to check the status.

The adcom personally came to my apartment this morning with my admissions packet, dry cleaning, and a briefcase filled with gold bars. Anyone else? So happy I got in, was really on the fence.
